Plans and credits

Your Saldek plan and monthly credit balance determine how you can use the service. Choose monthly billing or pay annually at the cost of 10 monthly payments, saving 2 months. You can try all features for 30 days before subscribing to a paid plan.

Plan overview

• Starter (€19 per month): 2,000 credits per month, up to 500 documents per month, and 3 users. Also includes categories, projects, bank-statement import (CSV or CAMT.053), VAT summary, PDF and CSV exports, and integrations (e-mail, Gmail, Outlook, and Google Drive). Invited people get the role “Accountant”.
• Business (€49 per month): 10,000 credits per month, up to 3,000 documents per month, and 10 users. Also includes role management, bank reconciliation with matching suggestions, advanced reports, recurring invoices, an audit log, and DATEV and BMD exports. The app marks this plan as “Suggested”.
• Pro (€99 per month): 30,000 credits per month, up to 10,000 documents per month, and 25 users. Includes all Business features plus priority support.
• Enterprise (€249 per month): 100,000 credits per month, unlimited documents, and unlimited users. Contact us for custom agreements and service level agreements.

Trial and credit balance

Registration starts a 30-day trial with all features, 1,000 credits, up to 300 documents, and up to 3 users. You do not need a credit card. We remind you by e-mail 7, 3 and 1 day before it ends and on the last day. The trial with its 1,000 credits is given once per person: only the first organisation you create receives it. Every further organisation starts directly with a plan.

If you do not choose a plan by the end of the trial, your organisation switches to read-only mode. You can still sign in, view and search everything, download original documents and create every export (PDF, CSV, DATEV, BMD, ZIP). New documents, AI features, new invoices, bank imports and new bookings pause; connected mailboxes and storage are paused, not disconnected. Your data is not deleted. As soon as you choose a plan under “Billing”, you can carry on right away.

Credits pay for AI services such as extracting document data and preparing a booking suggestion. The number of credits required depends on the document type and page count; Saldek does not charge a fixed amount per document. Saldek reserves credits before processing and returns any unused credits. If extraction fails, you do not lose the reserved credits.

Credit expiry and usage

• Credits in paid plans: Unused monthly credits roll over to the next month and expire after one additional month.
• Read-only mode: Without a plan, AI features pause, so no credits are used. Existing credits only expire on their regular date and can be used again once you have a plan.
• Usage order: Saldek uses credits with the earliest expiration date first.
• Cancellation: If you cancel a subscription, your remaining credits are kept until their regular expiration date.
• Add-on packages: Additional credit packages are valid for 12 months (1,000 credits for €12, 5,000 credits for €49, and 20,000 credits for €149).
• Refunds: Saldek removes the unused credits granted for a refund in proportion to the refund amount. Your balance will not fall below zero.
• “Ask Saldek”: Every plan includes free AI answers each month (Starter 50, Business 300, Pro 1,500, Enterprise 5,000); each further AI answer costs 1 credit. During the trial, every AI answer costs 1 credit. Template answers are free.
• Voice minutes: Every plan includes voice minutes each month for voice input, and the trial includes 100. Beyond that, each started minute costs 1 credit.

Manage plans and credits

1. 1Open “Billing”: Open the account menu at the top right and select “Billing”.
2. 2Check your usage and balance: See your plan, remaining credits, and usage history.
3. 3Change your plan or add credits: choose a plan in the plan overview. Upgrade: you pay the new price minus what is left of your current plan, and the new plan starts at once; a smaller plan takes effect at the end of your paid period. Invoices, payment methods and cancellation are under “Manage billing” in the customer portal. Select “Top up credits” to buy an additional credit package.
